What personal data is processed?

The personal information that is processed for the stated purposes is in each case limited to what is necessary to be able to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. Which information is processed will depend on the content of your customer relationship with us, and any agreements you have entered into with the Company.

  • Information you provide to us yourself

When you register as a user in our services, we store the personal information you voluntarily provide to us. Information that is stored is your name, address, telephone number, e-mail address as well as information about your vehicle and credit card. In addition, we can process passwords, location, order and purchase history, photographs of vehicles, inquiries to the Company and recordings from video surveillance.

  • Information we receive through your use of our services

Our services collect and store personal data using areas with camera recognition. By parking in an area with camera recognition, we can, for example, register the number plate on your vehicle and in some cases information about the owner of the vehicle. Our websites, www.apcoa.no, www.profectum.no and www.leieparkering.no, use Google Analytics which collects anonymized information about the users, for example which type of device you use to visit the pages with or which pages you look at.

What is the information used for?

The personal information is used to be able to offer and adapt our services to you. For example, we need personal data so that you can log in to our services, send you an invoice or receipt or check whether you have a valid agreement. We also use anonymized data for statistical purposes and to ensure that our services function as they should, including that our digital services function optimally.

How long is the information stored?

The company stores your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which the personal data was collected. The personal data we process is stored as long as you have an active customer relationship with us or we have contractual or statutory obligations that require us to store this. Personal data we process in order to fulfill an agreement with you is deleted when the agreement has been fulfilled and all obligations arising from the contractual relationship have been fulfilled, so that information will be deleted after the parking has been paid and the appeal period has expired. In some cases, we may retain information beyond the above where it is necessary to our interest in a complaint or we are legally required to do so according to the Accounting or Bookkeeping Act.
In order to limit the storage of personal data, we anonymize or delete personal data continuously when it is no longer necessary for our services to have access to the personal data. For example, we anonymize personal data if you have parked in an area with camera recognition and the parking was free, you paid at a payment machine on site or if you paid online within 48 hours. If you cancel your customer relationship, all personal data that we are not legally required to keep will be deleted. You can contact us regarding this and cancel your customer relationship via e-mail to kundesenter@apcoa.no.
